Two teenagers charged with raping girl in Walthamstow

Two teenagers have been charged with the rape of a 12-year-old girl in east London.

The victim told police she met three males at about 00:15 BST on 27 July who engaged her in conversation.

They then took her to a secluded row of garages off Hibbert Road, near the junction with Theydon Street, in Walthamstow where she was raped.

Two 17-year-olds, who cannot be named, are due before Thames Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

    Alleged victims

    HCA Professionals, based in Barking, east London, promised carers jobs if they paid for unnecessary and "highly unprofessional" training.

    08:51: Kensington Mall stabbing

    Police were called at 03:30 this morning to Kensington Mall, near Notting Hill Gate station, where they found a man who had been stabbed. They found a second man with stab injuries in Royston Court.

    Both men are in their mid-20s and have been taken to hospital. One is in a serious condition and one critical.
