Jermain Defoe's aunt wants St Lucia pool death answers

27 August 2013 Last updated at 13:52 BST

A mother whose daughter was electrocuted in a hotel swimming pool in St Lucia has said she wants more to be done to find out the circumstances surrounding her death.

Hannah Defoe, 20, the cousin of Tottenham and England footballer Jermain Defoe, was killed when she dived into the water last summer.

Her mother, Hope Defoe, has called on the UK government to take action after an inquest was adjourned due to a lack of information from the St Lucian authorities.

BBC London's Marc Webber spoke with Hope Defoe.
