Man cautioned over Houses of Parliament fire

A man has been given a caution after a small fire at the Palace of Westminster, Metropolitan Police has said.

The fire was set in the central London building on 23 July.

Police arrested a 32-year-old man on 3 October. He was released on bail, pending enquiries, after being questioned by officers.

The man has accepted a caution for criminal damage after he returned on bail, police said.
