Two pedestrians killed in Romford bus collision named

Two pedestrians who died when they were struck by a bus in east London on Friday have been named by police.

Henry Keller and Colin Graham Hicks, both believed to be in their 60s and from the area, were hit by the vehicle on Western Road in Romford.

They were pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, which happened at about 14:20 GMT.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and later released on bail until January.

Metropolitan Police officers appealed for people who witnessed the collision, including passengers on the bus involved, to contact them.
