Man's body found in Greenford house

A man has been charged in connection with a body being found at a house in west London.

Officers were called to Greenford Road, Greenford, at midday on Thursday following concerns for a resident.

While there, a body, believed to be that of a 36-year-old man, was found. Post mortem tests have been held but the cause of death not yet issued.

A man, 20, has been charged with conspiring to prevent the lawful and decent burial of a body.

Police said he will appear before Westminster magistrates on Monday.

A 17-year-old woman who was arrested at the home in connection with the death has been bailed.

The Met said next of kin have been told however formal identification has not yet taken place.
