Man accused of sex worker Maria Duque-Tunjano's murder

A man has been charged with murdering a west London sex worker.

Maria Duque-Tunjano, 48, was found in a flat in Earl's Court in west London on 31 January. It is believed she had died several days before she was found.

A post-mortem examination found she had been hit over the head with a blunt object.

Robert Richard Fraser was arrested at a shop in Leicester Square, central London, on Tuesday night and was charged earlier.

Ms Duque-Tunjano was a British national, originally from Colombia, who lived in Streatham.

She used the Earl's Court flat for work.
