Man, 18, charged over bus crash stabbing in Stockwell

An 18-year-old has been charged with the murder of a man who was found with stab wounds in a car which had collided with a bus.

Babafemi Junaid, known as Femi, was found on 7 February, near Stockwell Tube station, south London.

Evan Edwards, of Stockwell Gardens Estate, was arrested on Thursday and charged with Mr Junaid's murder on Friday night.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested earlier in connection with the death.

Mr Junaid, from Peckham, south-east London, was found just before 18:00 GMT and taken to hospital but died later that evening.

A post-mortem examination found he died of a single stab wound to the heart.

A 16-year-old and 17-year-old, arrested on Tuesday in connection with the incident, have been bailed to April pending further enquiries.
