Seven people arrested over Regent's Street stabbing

Seven people have been arrested and an area around Piccadilly Circus has been cordoned off after a man was stabbed in central London.

The injured man suffered a single stab wound was found by police officers in Regent Street at about 05.30 GMT.

The Metropolitan Police said he was in a stable condition in hospital.

Streets between the Anteros statue at Piccadilly Circus and Norris Street were cordoned off for several hours.
