Man dies after being found in south-east London alleyway

A man has died after being found in an alleyway in south-east London with serious injuries.

The man, believed to be 37, was discovered between an estate agents and a supermarket off Station Road in South Norwood at 07:00 GMT.

He was taken to Kings College Hospital by ambulance, where he later died. Officers said they are awaiting for the victim to be formally identified.

Police are treating his death as suspicious. No arrests have been made.

Det Ch Insp Diane Tudway said: "We do not know, at this time, how the victim sustained his injuries, nor have we established a motive for any attack on him."
