Heathrow expansion opponents face eviction from squat

15 August 2014 Last updated at 18:03 BST

A group of squatters who have spent the last four years living on land close to Heathrow airport are facing eviction.

The Grow Heathrow group in Sipson village moved onto the derelict site, which had originally been earmarked for airport expansion. Bailiffs are expected to evict the squatters but have yet to turn up.

BBC reporter Karl Mercer talked to John McDonnell, Labour MP for Hayes and Harlington, and local resident Tracy Howard.
