Man stabbed to death in Notting Hill

A man has been stabbed to death in west London.

Police were called to Portobello Road in Notting Hill to reports of a stabbing just before midnight.

The victim, who is in his 50s, was treated by paramedics but died at the scene at about 00:45 BST on Saturday. A murder inquiry has been launched.

Detectives believe they know who the man is but are yet to release his identity. No arrests have been made, police said.
