London's Liverpool Street station evacuated in fire alert

London's Liverpool Street station was evacuated after firefighters were called to reports of smoke coming from a fast food restaurant.

London Fire Brigade (LFB) said it was called to reports of smoke coming from a Burger King in the station concourse.

Both the mainline and London Underground stations were evacuated at about 22:00 BST.

But by 22:30 BST the fire service said it had been a false alarm and the station had reopened.
