Hospital absconder Paul Williams charged with 11 offences

A man who absconded from a south-east London psychiatric hospital has been charged with 11 offences including blackmail and criminal damage.

Paul Williams, 48, left Oxleas House Psychiatric Hospital in Woolwich on 28 November.

He has also been charged with aggravated burglary, theft, possession of an offensive weapon, possessing cannabis and a motor vehicle offence.

He is expected to appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court later.
