Motorcyclist killed in Kensington hit-and-run lorry crash named

A motorcyclist who died after he was involved in a collision with a cement lorry that failed to stop has been named by police.

Nick Gale, 39, from Fulham, south-west London, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Kensington High Street at about 10:00 GMT on 10 March.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place on 16 March.

The lorry involved in the crash was later found in central London and the driver was not arrested, police said.
