Teenager arrested at Luton Airport for terror offences

A teenager arrested at Luton Airport upon his return from Turkey is due to appear in court to face terror charges.

Nineteen-year-old Yahya Rashid, from Willesden in north west London, was stopped when the flight from Istanbul landed on Tuesday.

Mr Rashid was arrested on suspicion of preparation of acts of terrorism, the Met Police said.

Police said he would appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
