Murder arrests after man shot dead in Leyton
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a shooting in east London.
A man, aged in his 20s, was found with a bullet wound and pronounced dead at the scene in Leyton by paramedics.
Officers were called in the early hours of Saturday to reports of shots being fired and a collision near the junction of Melbourne Road and Capworth Street.
Det Ch Insp Andrew Packer said the motive for the shooting was "unclear" and has appealed for witnesses.
Both arrested men remain in police custody.
The victim is yet to be formally identified but his next of kin have been informed.
