Woman and teen bailed over 'Syria travel plans'
A woman and teenage girl arrested on suspicion of trying to travel to Syria to join a banned group have been bailed.
The duo, aged 16 and 20, were arrested in central London on Sunday on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts.
They have been bailed until September, the Metropolitan Police said.
A total of 36 women were held as part of counter-terrorism investigations in the past financial year, according to the force.
It is the highest figure on record.
