Arrest as two badly hurt in Salford fire
A man has been arrested after a suspected arson attack at a block of flats in Salford which left two women critically injured.
The fire broke out at flats in Browfield Avenue, Ordsall, at about 2000 BST on Sunday.
Several people were taken to hospital. Two women remain in a critical but stable condition, police said.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
