Man and boy shot in Bury suffer head injuries

A man and a teenage boy are in hospital after both being shot in the head in Greater Manchester.

The victims, aged 33 and 17, suffered shotgun wounds during an incident in Every Street, Bury, on Sunday night.

The pair, whose injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, are now under armed police guard in Fairfield Hospital, Bury.

Greater Manchester Police said three men had been arrested in connection with the shooting.

A 32-year-old is being questioned on suspicion of possession of a firearm. Two others, aged 25 and 33, are being held on suspicion of violent disorder.
