Teenager charged with killing man in Leigh

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with killing a man who died after he was punched and fell to the ground in Greater Manchester.

Stephen Mark Garvey, 46, was found collapsed in Henry Street, Leigh, on 27 February.

He was taken to hospital but died from head injuries shortly afterwards.

The boy, who cannot be identified because of his age, has been charged with manslaughter and is due to appear at Wigan Youth Court on Monday.
