Call of Duty cyber attack suspect not to face charges

A Manchester teenager arrested over an alleged cyber attack on the online version of the computer game Call of Duty will not face charges.

A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said no further action will be taken against the 17-year-old who was first arrested last December.

The boy, who was arrested in Beswick, by the Metropolitan Police e-crime unit, had been bailed and re-bailed.

The cyber attack stopped large numbers people playing the game online.
