A teenager has been charged with the murder of a boy who was shot dead outside a pub in Greater Manchester.

Giuseppe Gregory, 16, was killed outside the Robin Hood pub in Barton Road, Stretford, on 11 May 2009.

Moses Mathias, 18, of no fixed address, was arrested in Amsterdam on a European Arrest Warrant.

He was charged with the murder and was flown back to the UK on Thursday, Greater Manchester Police said. He is due before magistrates on Friday.

Two other men - Njabulo Ndlovu, 19, of Shackleton Court in Newton Heath, and Hiruy Zerihun, 18, of Lloyd Street South in Moss Side - were both jailed for life after being convicted of murder.

Two others are serving life sentences for firearm offences.
