Man dies after hit-and-run crash in Radcliffe

A man who was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash in Greater Manchester has died.

The 24-year-old was struck by a black Seat Altea in Dumers Lane, Radcliffe, at about 2050 BST on Sunday.

The driver of the car fled the scene. The vehicle was later found abandoned in Hampson Hill Road, Bury. The victim was taken to hospital but died.

A man and two women were arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a collision and bailed.

Greater Manchester Police has appealed to anyone with any information about the crash to contact the force.
