Rochdale child exploitation: two more due in court
Two men are due to appear in court as part of an ongoing investigation into child sexual exploitation in Rochdale.
Eight men have already been charged with allegations of grooming and committing sexual activity with teenage girls in the Greater Manchester town.
Abdul Qayyum, of Rochdale, was charged with two counts of sexual activity with a child and conspiracy to rape.
Kabeer Hassan, 24, of Lacrosse Avenue, Oldham, was summonsed to appear before Rochdale magistrates for rape.
The 43-year-old from Ramsay Street was also due to appear at the same court on Wednesday.
A third man was re-bailed until 22 August while two other men failed to answer bail on Tuesday and are currently being sought by police.
Eight men were charged earlier this month with offences including rape, paying for the sexual services of a child, trafficking a child and controlling child prostitution.
