Longsight death crash: Two charged

Two men have been charged after a 21-year-old died when he was hit by a car in Manchester.

Daniel Lee, of Broad Oak Road, Wythenshawe, was struck by a car on Plymouth Grove in Longsight on 30 January. He died at the scene.

Kamran Khan, 23, of Moss Road, Stretford was charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

Shamin Uddin, 24, of Bostock Walk, Ardwick, has been charged with dangerous driving.

Both men are due to appear before Manchester Crown Court on 8 August.
