Two cut from cars after collision in Great Eccleston

Two people have been cut free from their cars and taken to hospital after a crash on the A586 in Lancashire.

Firefighters were called to the scene of the collision on Garstang Road in Great Eccleston on Sunday afternoon.

Two people were trapped in separate cars. One person was cut out from their car and flown to hospital in an air ambulance, the fire service said.

A second man also needed to be released from his car and taken to hospital.
