Cocaine with an estimated street value of £2m has been found among a shipment of vegetables at Manchester Airport.

Border Agency officers said 65kg of the drug was found among 329 boxes of vegetables that arrived from the Dominican Republic on Wednesday.

Three men from Oldham were arrested shortly after on suspicion of importing drugs.

They were later released on bail pending further inquiries.
