Manchester bus row attack: Two men questioned

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a man who was left with a fractured skull following a row on a Manchester bus.

The man, who was in his 30s, was assaulted on Wilmslow Road in Rusholme at about 22:05 BST on Sunday.

Police believe the assault followed an argument which had broken out on a bus travelling from Piccadilly to Didsbury.

Two men, both aged 20, handed themselves in to police and were arrested on suspicion of assault.

They remain in police custody for questioning.

The man who was assaulted was found by police lying unconscious on Wilmslow Road shortly after he was attacked.
