Salford pub shooting: Victim named as Lee Erdman

A man who was fatally shot at a pub in Greater Manchester has been named by detectives.

Lee Erdman, 37, of Salford, was shot at the Wellington pub in Regent Road, Salford, early on Saturday.

He was taken to Salford Royal Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. Post-mortem tests confirmed he died from gunshot wounds.

Police said they believed Mr Erdman had been shot during an altercation in the pub some time before 03:00 BST.

A spokesman urged anyone with any information to contact Greater Manchester Police or Crimestoppers.
