A 19-year-old man has pleaded guilty to causing the death of a girl in Greater Manchester by driving dangerously.

Annie Cochrane, 14, was killed when the Rover 25 car she was travelling in hit a tree in School Lane, Haigh Hall, in the early hours of 13 February.

Michael Partington, from Bolton, admitted causing death by dangerous driving at Liverpool Crown Court.

He was released on bail, but banned from driving, until a sentencing hearing on 28 October.
