Chorlton-cum-Hardy shooting: Victim arrested over drugs

A man who was shot outside a house in Manchester has been arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs.

Police were called to Clarendon Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, at 21:50 GMT on Sunday after reports that a man had been shot.

A 22-year-old was taken to hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm, with his injuries described as non-life-threatening.

Police said the same man was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs.

They have asked anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
