Murder probe after man found dead in Manchester

Police have launched a murder investigation after the body of a man was found in a house in Manchester.

The man, who was in his 30s, was discovered in a property in Tayfield Road, Woodhouse Park, Wythenshawe, at about 17:45 GMT on Sunday.

Officers were called to the house and found the man, whose name has not been released, with chest injuries.

Det Ch Insp Pete Marsh, of Greater Manchester Police, appealed for anyone with information to contact detectives.
