Nurse admits morphine theft from Trafford General Hospital

A 24-year-old Manchester nurse has admitted stealing a morphine-based drug from Trafford General Hospital.

Jessica Farrell, from Hulme, admitted two counts of theft of morphine sulphate, which is used for pain relief, at Trafford Magistrates' Court.

She also admitted possession of cannabis on the day of her arrest on 1 February.

Farrell has been committed to Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court on 23 March for sentencing.
