Stockport burns death: Family tribute to Robert McAlees

The family of a father-of-four who died after being found with serious burns on a street in Greater Manchester has paid tribute to "a loving son and brother".

Robert McAlees, 41, was found with 90% burns in Carlingford Close, Adswood, Stockport, on Friday.

He later died from his injuries at a specialist unit in Wythenshawe Hospital.

Helen Green, 43, has been charged with his murder is due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 7 February.

In a statement, the family of Mr McAlees said: "Robert was a great dad to his four children, a loving brother and a loving son.

"May you rest in peace Dad. You will always be in our hearts, we will never forget you and we will always love you."
