Crossbow and drugs uncovered in Hollinwood flat raid

A crossbow, gun and drugs with an estimated street value of £2,000 were seized by police at a flat in Oldham.

Officers found the haul when they raided the property in Byron Street, Hollinwood, Greater Manchester, on Wednesday afternoon.

Along with the crossbow and an air pistol, police found class A drugs, some cannabis and drugs paraphernalia.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.

He was also questioned on suspicion of possession of cannabis and bailed until July pending further inquiries.
