Woman denies Robert McAlees burns murder in Stockport

A woman has pleaded not guilty at Manchester Crown Court to the murder of Robert McAlees who died of severe burns.

Police found Mr McAlees, 41, at a house in Carlingford Close, Adswood, Stockport, on 3 February.

He had suffered 90% burns and was taken to a specialist unit at Wythenshawe Hospital but later died.

Helen Green, 43, has been remanded in custody. The trial has been scheduled for 9 July at Manchester Crown Court.
