Boy, 4, critical after De Havilland Way car crash in Bolton

A four-year-old boy is in a critical condition in hospital after a car crash in Bolton.

The boy was a passenger in a Peugeot 206 which was in collision with two other vehicles on De Havilland Way at about 18:40 BST on Monday.

The boy was freed from the car by firefighters and taken to hospital with head injuries.

A Land Rover Discovery and Vauxhall Insignia were also involved in the incident, Lancashire Police said.
