Ben Oliver Keen named as canalside crash victim
The family of a man who died after his motorbike was involved in a collision with a bicycle on a canal towpath in Leigh say he will be "sadly missed".
Ben Oliver Keen, 19, was taken to hospital after the crash near Manchester Road which happened shortly before 16:00 BST on Tuesday.
Police said he was pronounced dead a short time later. A 53-year-old cyclist suffered minor arm injuries.
An 18-year-old passenger on the motorbike was uninjured.
In a statement, Mr Keen's family said: "Ben was a loving son, brother and grandson.
"He will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends".
