Stuart Smith: Man pleads not guilty to stabbing murder

A man accused of killing a man at a party in Greater Manchester has pleaded not guilty to his murder.

Daniel Walker, 23, of Devon Road, Tyldesley, is accused of stabbing Stuart Smith to death in May.

Mr Smith was found with knife wounds on 7 May in Rutland Road, Tyldesley, and died later in hospital.

Mr Walker also denied possessing an offensive weapon and has been remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 30 August.
