Man found unconscious in Openshaw house dies

A man has died five days after he was found unconscious with head injuries at a Greater Manchester house.

Police found the 47-year-old when they were called to the address in Wheler Street, Openshaw, at 12:45 GMT on Monday.

He was taken to hospital, where he died earlier.

Two men, aged 25 and 26, were arrested on suspicion of assault and have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
