Three arrested after man shot in the buttocks in Salford
Three men have been arrested after a 20-year-old man was shot in the buttocks in Greater Manchester.
Police were called to Westray Crescent in Weaste, Salford at 20:10 GMT on Tuesday and found the injured man.
A short time later, an 18-year-old and two 19-year-olds were stopped in a stolen Volkswagen Polo and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Supt Wayne Miller, from Greater Manchester Police, said the man had been "deliberately targeted".
The man was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
Mr Miller said that officers would be "robustly and meticulously investigating this incident in order to identify and bring to justice those responsible".
