Man wanted over 'devastating' Manchester hit and run
Police have released an image of a man wanted over a hit-and-run that has left a father-of-three in hospital for the last six months.
Michael Ward, 29, has been in hospital since the car hit him and two other men on John Dalton Street, Manchester, at 02:30 BST on 21 August.
He suffered "catastrophic" head injuries, which his wife, Maryrose, said has devastated his family.
Six people were arrested over the incident and remain on police bail.
A 30-year-old man suffered a broken leg and a 32-year-old man received superficial injuries.
Police said two groups of men left Silks club on Lloyd Street moments before the collision.
One group is believed to have walked to Clarence Street, where they got into a silver Vauxhall Corsa.
Minutes later the car ploughed into the other group of men as they crossed the road, police said.
Mrs Ward said: "The impact this has had on our lives has been truly devastating and our three children have been left with broken hearts.
"I go and see Michael everyday at the hospital and it is deeply upsetting to remember him how he was before the incident and to see how he is now."
Det Con Marie Eldred appealed for anyone who recognises the man pictured to contact Greater Manchester Police, adding: "While three men were injured, Michael in particular has suffered catastrophic injuries that he will never fully recover from.
"He and his family have been left totally devastated and it is important that we get justice for them."
