Man bailed after Manchester manager of Akbar's restaurant dies

A man who was arrested after a restaurant manager died following a dispute over a bill, has been released on police bail.

The manager, aged 45, collapsed after the incident at Akbar's Indian restaurant in Liverpool Road, Manchester city centre, on Friday.

A post-mortem examination revealed the cause of death was unascertained.

The suspect, 37, was bailed until January, after being held on suspicion of assault.
