Porsche hit-and-run crash in Chorlton: CCTV released

Police have released CCTV footage of a sports car involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Manchester.

Craig Rodger, 25, was hit by a Porsche when crossing Wilbraham Road, Chorlton, on 10 March. He died later in hospital.

Two men aged 32 and 25, arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, have been bailed until 28 April.

Police have released CCTV footage of the black Porsche Panamera travelling at speed before the collision.

The car, with registration number MX10 0BK, was later found burnt out half a mile away from the site of the crash in Brookburn Road.

Det Ch Insp Colin Larkin said: "I have no doubt that the driver did not intend to take a life last Monday night, but they did.

"I am appealing directly to whoever was driving that car to come in and tell us what happened."
