Sir Alex Ferguson's wine collection sells for £400K
The second part of Sir Alex Ferguson's wine collection amassed during his reign at Manchester United has raised nearly £400,000 at a London auction.
Auction house Christie's said 140 lots from the Sir Alex Ferguson CBE Collection made £398,818 ($673,000).
A magnum of Domaine de la Romanee-Conti 2002 Burgundy fetched £16,450.
It was the second of three auctions of wine from the former Manchester United boss' collection following one in Hong Kong last month which fetched £2.2m.
