Middleton pub death: Man accused of manslaughter

A man has been charged over the death of a man allegedly pushed in front of a car outside a Greater Manchester pub.

Arron Wasdell, 28, of Middleton, died early on Sunday after an altercation with a group of men outside The Carters Arms pub on Manchester Old Road.

A 33-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter and will appear before Bury and Rochdale Magistrates' Court.

Another man, aged 31, arrested on suspicion of murder was bailed pending further inquiries until 29 December.
