Gorton street murder: Man held over rapper 'Deezy' death

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a rapper attacked by two men on a Manchester street.

Dale Gordon, known as "Deezy", 20, was attacked on Netherbury Close, Gorton on Saturday night and died in hospital.

Police said he was killed following an altercation with the men. A post-mortem examination found Mr Gordon, who was known to police, died of head injuries.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said a 31-year-old man was being questioned.

Mr Gordon appeared on a GMP wanted website in June over an alleged assault.
