Plane lands in Manchester after passenger becomes disruptive
A plane was forced to make an unscheduled landing at Manchester Airport after a passenger became disruptive.
The Qatar Airways flight from New York to Doha was diverted after cabin crew were forced to restrain the man.
He was arrested after the plane landed shortly before 09:00 GMT, a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said.
The airport had earlier said the Boeing 777 diverted due to "a minor medical issue".
Flight QR702 took off from New York at around 21.45 local time on Wednesday and was due to land in Doha at around 17:00.
