Bolton 2013 drug death: Woman charged with murder
A woman has been charged with the murder of a man almost two years after he died of an overdose.
Philip James Makinson, 59, was found dead at a property on Lindfield Drive, Bolton on 1 February 2013.
A post-mortem examination at the time gave the cause of his death as a drug overdose.
Greater Manchester Police said following a review of evidence, 35-year-old Lyndsay Jones, of no fixed abode, had been charged with murder.
Ms Jones has also been charged with two counts of supplying heroin, one of administering a noxious substance so as to endanger life, and one of manslaughter.
She appeared before Manchester Crown Court on Monday and was remanded in custody ahead of a hearing on 20 April.
