Lynne Cash: Family tribute to Salford car crash victim

A 64-year-old woman who died following a car crash in Salford was a "wonderful kind person". her family has said.

Lynne Cash was driving a Daewoo Matiz which was in collision with a black Volkswagen Tiguan at the junction of Cadishead Way and Fairhills Road in Irlam on 13 January.

She was taken to Wythenshawe hospital by air ambulance, where she died.

Paying tribute, her family said: "She always had a brew and a slice of cake on hand for a chat."

They added: "She always put the needs of others first. She will be greatly missed by everyone but especially her four grandchildren."
